Dear Mrs. Babcock
I just want to tell how much I appreciate all that you've done for me throughout this past year; letting me come into your class basically every day, looking over my work multiple times, and helping complete my applications. I have not only grown into a better writer but also a better person. Your class taught me how to expand my thinking and develop myself into a better writer.
Even though the class was tough at times, I honestly enjoyed the time I spent in there. One of the things I enjoyed was when we worked together as a class, to plan out the prompts. This helped me out a lot for I got multiple people’s opinions so that I could complete an essay with the thoroughness it needed. I also enjoyed doing the Frankenstein essay for I got to work with a small group while writing the essay at the same time. Something that might need to change is the winter break assignment. I completely understand the need for an assignment but I don’t feel that it watching star wars benefited me for I didn’t use it in any way. I did get to spend time with my dad but it wasn’t something I was interested so I don’t remember what the main point of the movies were. I remember at the beginning of the year I was very confused on the whole planning process of Fourth of July. I know I didn’t understand the AEC chart at first. The in class group work I didn’t benefit from because everyone was just restating what was already written I don’t know if it was just that I was new to the whole concept but I feel like it drawn out way too much. I will always remember the brightness of D.C.!
